Barriers do not go away because people mean well. They go away when someone plans the change, pays for it, does it and checks it worked. This course shows how an organisation plans, publishes and measures its removal of barriers for disabled people, using the action plan provisions of the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 and Australia's Disability Strategy 2021 to 2031. It keeps people safe by fixing the cause of exclusion, so the next person does not meet the same barrier.
